Ann joined Stony Brook in 2010, having worked in health care and research organizations throughout her career. She has extensive experience in program planning and operations, and in obtaining and conducting funded projects in the areas of education, public policy, public health and medical research. She has a special interest in graduate education and postdoctoral training, diversity and inclusion, and the Boston Red Sox. She holds a B.A. with a History concentration from Harvard and later continued at Stony Brook with coursework in management. More recently, Ann earned her M.A. in Medical Humanities, Compassionate Care and Bioethics at Stony Brook University.
