Stony Brook has a major presence at SIGSPATIAL 2017

The ACM SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems 2017 (ACM SIGSPATIAL 2017) is the twenty fifth event in a series of symposia and workshops that began in 1993 with the aim of bringing together researchers, developers, users, and practitioners in relation to novel systems based on geo-spatial data and knowledge, and fostering interdisciplinary discussions and research in all aspects of geographic information systems.

Dr. Wang's lab has three papers presented at SIGSPATIAL 2017 this year, held at Los Angeles area, California, on big data management systems for 2D data, and 3D data, and efficient and effective massive geocoding.
