BMI’s Dr. Fusheng Wang is again chairing the Third International Workshop on Data Management and Analytics for Medicine and Healthcare (DMAH 2017) at the 43rd International Conference on Very Large Data Bases (VLDB 2017). Fellow BMI members are serving on the Program Committee: Department Co-Chair Dr. Tahsin M. Kurc and BMI PhD candidate Yanhui Liang.
DMAH 2017 brings together researchers from cross-cutting research domains, including information management and medical informatics. The workshop aims to foster exchange of information and discussions on innovative data management and analytics technologies. DMAH 2017 this year brought together topics such as data privacy, blockchain, social media mining for health, which attracted major interest and discussions.
