The future of medicine will depend on digital platforms rapidly evolving and growing today in telehealth and data analytics.
As the future of telehealth evolves, remote patient monitoring will provide a cloud of health information systems that use algorithms to process these data streams and alert healthcare teams of trends and values that signify potential problems and require healthcare provider analysis and possible intervention.

At the end of this offering, the participant will be able to:

  • Understand how telehealth and mobile healthcare platforms will change the way healthcare is delivered at Stony Brook and beyond
  • Learn the opportunities and challenges of Telemedicine
