CSIRE 2024 will offer three options: 1) commuter option for local students, 2) residential option, and 3) remote. The latter two options are for non-local students only.
The program is for US students only (currently studying and residing in the US).
Good programming skills is among the prerequisites of the program.

Research activities: Students will explore topics in a research area in machine learning, biomedical informatics, , data science, human computer interaction, visualization, IoT, database systems, security, computer graphics, among others.
Seminars: During the program, research seminars will be provided for students to learn about areas of computer science and biomedical research from Stony Brook University faculty. There will be also be a few career seminars by CSIRE alumni.
Lab visits: On-campus students will have the chance to visit research labs.
