Radiology Informatics Micro-credential
Registration - This highly selective program is designed to choose a limited number of participants who possess exceptional qualifications and demonstrate a strong commitment to the field of Imaging Informatics. Applications for this program are specifically sought during the Fall semester. The selection process for this program is rigorous and aims to identify candidates who are not only academically accomplished but also genuinely passionate about the field of Imaging Informatics. The selection committee comprises esteemed faculty members from the Departments of Radiology and Biomedical Informatics.
The initial step of the selection process involves a thorough review of each applicant's curriculum vitae and a personal statement. The personal statement should highlight the candidate’s experiences, achievements, and motivations pertaining to imaging informatics; this may include any prior experience involving projects in image analysis, machine learning, statistical analysis, quality assurance, healthcare informatics, etc. Following the initial screening, a subset of applicants who exhibit outstanding potential and align with the program's objectives are invited for an interview. This interview stage evaluates the candidates' interpersonal skills, communication abilities, critical thinking, and their potential for contributing to the field of Imaging Informatics.
